We are also very excited to be organising a wonderful event for February next year; I know this sounds like a long way off, but we have a lot of preparation work to do before this event so we can be fully organised. We are going to need beautiful clothes and shoes for both men and women; also accessories, hats, jewelry, belts etc. The plan is to host a wonderful Fashion Show that will see volunteers and clients on the catwalk. We are aiming high, beauticians and hairdressers ect, to make us all look amazing. The clients and the team are very excited. We will need rails of clothes to sell on the night as well to make this a great success.
Now is the time to dust off your tiara and fascinators and those ball gowns you no longer wear, rid yourself of clutter by bringing in suits, jackets, dresses belts, hats, costume jewellery etc so that we can get ourselves organised. This will be such a great experience for our clients to be part of the team and have a lot of fun too.
The cafe is going really well; we now have a female only Neourodivergent group meeting here every other week; this has been overwhelmingly successful. If you haven't yet had the chance to pop in on a Friday we would really love to see you.
We are now looking for people to sponsor the cafe in the form of a Ninja Slushie machine, they are currently on offer in Costco for £250; please pray that we can find an organisation or group to enable this to happen for us.
On a more serious note; we are on the front line daily with clients that feel they have nothing to live for; depressed, struggling with all sorts of issues and often we have a lot of tears. God's hand is so obvious in this place of great need and we are very blessed to be able to share a bit of the Kingdom by showing love and respect to all of our clients and team alike. Keep praying for us all and for God to break through in the lives of our community.
