A service was held in the garden at Emmanuel’s Yard on Good Friday, 18th April 2025 as part of the Hope Takes Flight art installation and the scattering of the ashes of the paper Doves that hung in the cafe space, Chapel Hall. Sam Whiley created the ashes and Trish Stretton with other church family members completed the process of honouring all the prayers written inside these Doves, written at a time in the pandemeic where hope was needed. As previously written in January, the Doves were removed and we completed the plan to honour the prayers written and say a fond and blessed farewell by this short service and then the scattering of the ashes in the garden.
