John Mark Comer is a husband, father, pastor, and academic. He lives in Portland, America, and is the author of six books including : The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, God has a Name, Garden City, and My Name is Hope.
His passion for spiritual formation has led him to start a non-profit called Practicing the Way, where he aims to create resources for discipleship and formation in local churches.
He has a Master's Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary and describes himself as a voracious reader and avid listener.
